Instructions:
- If you are not already familiar with even count tubular peyote stitch, please watch our before proceeding.
-
Cut your thread to about three yards long, and single thread a needle with it. Pick up ten alternating color 10/0 Miyuki Delica beads with your needle, and follow the instructions on the video to create a peyote stitched tube that is approximately fourteen inches in length. (NOTE: You will have to add-on more thread a couple of times while creating this part of the necklace.)
-
When you have completed weaving the tube, tie off your thread and weave the remainder of it into the beadwork on both ends. Set this aside.
-
Open four 5.25mm Vintaj jump rings and add one each to four of the Vintaj fern charms. Close each jump ring once more. Set them aside.
-
Thread a Vintaj leaf toggle onto a head pin, and . Trim off excess wire and set this aside.
-
Cut a length of beading wire at two feet long. Secure one end of the wire with a Bead Stopper.
-
Onto the wire, thread the following:
- three 4mm antiqued brass melon spacer beads
- an antiqued brass filigree bead cap
- a 12mm two-toned fire polish bead
- a Vintaj fern charm (through the jump ring)
- a 4mm antiqued brass melon spacer bead
- a 12mm two-toned fire polish bead
- a Vintaj fern charm (through the jump ring)
- a 4mm antiqued brass melon spacer bead
- a 12mm two-toned fire polish bead
- an antiqued brass filigree bead cap
- a 4mm antiqued brass melon spacer bead
- a Vintaj brass magnolia leaf bead cap
-
Thread on your peyote tube, and then thread the rest of the necklace as a mirror image of the previous step.
-
Thread a brass crimp bead onto your beading wire, but do not crimp it yet. Thread on an additional eleven 10/0 alternating color Miyuki Delicas.
-
Thread your wire through the center of the Vintaj brass filigree ring pendant and back through the crimp bead and several consecutive beads. Pull the wire snug, and crimp the crimp bead, taking care not to crush any of the Delicas.
-
Remove the Bead Stopper from the opposite end of the necklace and add on a crimp bead. Thread the wire through the loop on your Vintaj leaf toggle bar, back through the crimp bead and several consecutive beads. Pull the wire snug and crimp the crimp bead.
-
Trim excess wire from both ends of the necklace.
-
Onto a Vintaj eye pin, thread a 12mm two-toned fire polish bead, a Vintaj brass magnolia leaf bead cap, and a 4mm antiqued brass melon spacer bead. Create a simple wire loop and trim off excess wire.
-
Open a 10mm Vintaj jump ring and thread it through the loop at the top of the dangle that you created in the previous step. Thread it also onto the Vintaj brass filigree ring pendant. Close the jump ring once more.
-
Open the loop on the bottom of the center dangle and thread a Vintaj fern charm onto it before closing once more.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
