stitched collar style necklace.

Instructions:
- If you are not already familiar with herringbone stitch, please watch our before proceeding. Create three separate panels of herringbone stitch, each beginning with ladder stitch (as shown in video) consisting of the following: one metallic amethyst gunmetal 8/0 Toho seed bead, one matte opaque gray 8/0 Toho seed bead, one metallic iris green/brown 8/0 Toho seed bead, two matte dark olive 8/0 Toho seed beads, one metallic iris green/brown 8/0 Toho seed bead, one matte opaque gray 8/0 Toho seed bead, and one metallic amethyst gunmetal 8/0 Toho seed bead.

Build off of those three panels with like color above like color, two of the panels being five rows (including initial ladder stitch), and one panel of nine rows. On the last row of each panel, stitch a row of 4mm Swarovski crystal bicones in the light amethyst dorado color. and weave in the remainder.

Thread your needle again, with an additional yard of Fireline. Join the three panels together by weaving the ladder stitch row together. As seen in the photos, weave in and reinforce a closed jump ring to each end of the panels.

Weave through the entire ladder stitched row again, to reinforce it. Tie your thread off and weave in the remainder.

Cut your foot long piece in half, into two six inch pieces. Use an oval to join each half to each closed jump ring at the ends of the three center panels.

Create a chain by linking together seven antiqued brass oval jump rings. Link the last jump ring to one end of the chain on one half of the necklace.

Use another oval jump ring to attach a lobster clasp to the other half of the necklace.

Onto two head pins, thread a Swarovski bicone. Create a and trim off excess wire. Add each of these head pin dangles to each of the oval jump rings at either end of the three panel centerpiece.

Onto another head pin, thread a Swarovski bicone, an 8/0 Toho bead (your choice of color) and another Swarovski bicone. Create a wrapped wire loop and trim off excess wire.

Attach this head pin dangle to the last jump ring in the extender chain.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
