Hidden Light Necklace
Project N501 Designer: Kathy Mannix
This necklace encompasses the beautiful Swarovski Crystal cross, definitely something to treasure.
NOTE: The chain used in this project has been discontinued and a slightly different item has replaced it. The overall look of the necklace will not change much, but the chain will differ slightly from the photo.

Instructions:
- Using your flush cutters, snip through the filigree in the 3 connecting points in the indentation between each "petal". Then snip off the swirls at the end of each of 3 of the petals, leaving one petal section uncut. (see photo illustration) Make sure to file smooth any sharp edges.
-
Lay the filigree piece on top of the front of the cross (the back of the cross is flat). Make sure the petal that still has the swirls is over the bottom part of the cross (the longest part of the cross).
-
Gently (so you dont crack the crystal) bend the filigree piece and shape it until it completely covers the cross.
-
Press the filigree petals gently so they grasp and bend around the back of each section of the crystal cross. Using your nylon chain nose pliers (XTL-6020), squeeze the petals gently to tighten. Pinch the very ends of the petals closed, to insure the crystal cross is snuggly sitting encased in the filigree piece.
-
Attach the larger open jump ring (FJR-3957) to the center top of the filigree piece and close.
-
String the chain through the jump ring you have just attached.
-
Use one of the 4x6 mm jump rings (FJR-3964) to attach the lobster clasp to one end of the chain.
-
Link and close a second 4x6 mm jump ring on the other end of the chain. Close jump ring. You're done!
