Instructions:
- Begin this necklace by creating your resin pendant. First cut out your bird image from your collage sheet. It is specifically sized to exactly fit the Patera pendant setting, taking the guesswork out of it for you. Apply an even layer of Nunn glue to the backside of the image and press into place in your pendant. Make sure that the bird's head is straight in spacial relation to one of the pendant loops. Use your fingers to press the image firmly into the pendant and squeeze out any air bubbles. Let dry. Once dry, using a paint brush, paint a layer of Nunn Sealant over the top of the image, making sure to cover the edges completely. Let dry and repeat with 2 more layers of sealant. and fill your pendant. Do not let it overflow, just fill it to the top edge but not over. Remove any bubbles with a torch. Let cure for 3 days.
-
On each end of your 24" chain, attach one half of your toggle clasp to the end chain link using a .
-
Fold your chain in half so that you find the midway point. Through the link which is at the middle of your chain, open a jump ring and thread it through that link. Before closing, place the jump ring through the loop at the top of your pendant. Close the .
-
We are now going to make the dangles. For the dangle with the heart, cut a 4 inch length of 24 gauge wire , thread it through your heart pendant so that there is 2 inches on either side. Create a . Thread onto the upright remaining wire a 4mm Swarovski bicone bead, then create a at the top and cut off excess wire using flush cutters. Attach this heart dangle to the bottom loop of your resin pendant using a jump ring.
-
Thread onto a silver plated head pin 1 4mm Swarovski bicone bead, 1 8mm Swarovski rondelle, and another 4mm Swarovski bicone bead. Create a and cut off any excess wire. Attach to your resin pendant using a jump ring. Repeat this step to make a second identical dangle and attach to your pendant the same way but on the other side of the heart.

Have fun wearing your new creation!

Tip: If you have some fine glitter, it would be fun to add a little to your resin before pouring into the pendant. The added sparkle would go nicely with all the Swarovski crystals.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
