Instructions:
- Since this project has a resin pendant, let's begin by making the resin item first. Find your 1 1/2 inch Patera collage pendant and your "Bathing Beauty" collage sheet. Find the image of the gal in the orange swimsuit with blue swimming cap and cut out. The images on this collage sheet are specifically sized to fit into Patera collage pendants.
-
Spread a layer of Nunn glue on the backside of the cut out image, making sure to spread the glue all the way to the edges. Press into the Patera collage pendant. Let dry. Once dry, use a paint brush to apply a thin, even layer of Nunn Sealant over the entire image, making sure to get into the corners and along the edges. Let dry fully and then apply a second coat of sealant, let dry.
-
making sure to remove the air bubbles with a heat source. Allow to fully cure for 3 days before working with it.
-
Once your pendant is dry, attach a 4mm jump ring to the top hoop. Take your two feet of chain and fold in half to find the center link. Once you have established which link is the middle one, attach your pendant to it via the 4mm jump ring. Close the jump ring.
-
Take a silver plated 1.5" head pin and bead onto it 1 Swarovski 4mm round bead in topaz AB brown and 1 Swarovski 6mm rondelle bead in caribbean blue opal. Create a simple wire loop ter the rondelle and cut off excess wire with flush cutters. Repeat with another 10 head pins.
-
Take a silver plated 1.5" head pin and place a single cultured dancing button white 6mm pearl. Create a simple wire loop after the pearl and cut off excess wire with flush cutters. Create another 12 of these.
-
For all of the head pins assembled in the last two steps, open their simple wire loops the same way you would open a jump ring. Take one at a time and attach all of them to the 4 chain links on either side of the link your pendant is attached to. Close the simple wire loops like a jump ring as soon as you slide each one onto a link. Try to distribute them evenly so that you do not end up with all pearls on one side and all blue on the other. This does not need to be precise. Once all are attached, proceed to the next step.
-
Find the 5th link on either side of your pendant. Slip a 4mm open jump ring through this link and then also through the 5th link on the other side of the necklace. This will pull your necklace together and make what appears to be a beaded ball. Close the jump ring.
-
Take a head pin and cut off the flat head part. Create a simple wire loop on this end. Place a Swarovski 6mm rondelle onto the wire and create another simple wire loop just after it. Take another head ping and place a button cultured pearl onto it, create a simple wire loop after the pearl. Create 2 of these. Take another head pin and place onto it 1 Swarovski 4mm round bead in topaz AB brown and 1 cultured button pearl. Create a simple wire loop. Now take all three of the pearl dangles you just made in this step and open their simple wire loops and attach them to the simple wire loop at the bottom of the blue rondelle you made in the beginning of this step. Close the loops back up once attached.
-
Open a 6mm jump ring and link onto it the last link on one of your chain sides and also the simple wire loop at the top of the blue rondelle/pearl beaded dangle you just made in the previous step. Close the jump ring.
-
On the other chain side of your necklace, open a 4mm jump ring and link it to the last chain link on that side and also to the hoop at the bottom of your lobster clasp, Close the link.
-
Enjoy!

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
