Instructions:
- Begin by cutting 11 lengths of Beadalon gold beading wire, 12 inches long each.
-
On your beading mat, spread out some of the beads from your Czech seed bead 11/0 mix in crystal metallic silver and gold. Also spread out some of your Czech fire polished glass 4mm apollo gold and 3mm silver metallic beads. Finally, spread out your Czech glass 8mm teardrop beads in apollo gold.
-
Place a bead stopper 3 inches from the tail of one of your cut beading wire lengths. Thread onto the beading wire 1 crimp bead and a random assortment of beads from above. You can choose if you want an entire length solely of seed beads or to string an inch or so of seed beads and then add a bead or two from above (which is what is shown in the photo). Just keep in mind that you have 11 strands you are going to string, so try and spread out the larger non-seed beads.
-
After you have strung 8 inches, add a crimp bead. Next, string on 1 closed 4mm silver plated jump ring. Thread the beading wire back through the crimp bead and several adjacent beads. Pull the beading wire tight and then . Snip off excess wire with flush cutters. Go to the end you started on and remove the bead stopper. String on a jump ring. Thread the beading wire back through the crimp bead and several adjacent beads. Pull the beading wire tight and then .
-
Repeat the above 2 steps with the other 10 cut lengths of beading wire. You want to end up with 5 lengths which have 8" of beads strung onto it, 3 lengths which have 7" of beads strung onto it, and finally 3 lengths which have 9" of beads strung onto it.
-
Once you have all the strands strung with a closed jump ring attached to each strands end via a crimp bead, then layout the strands on your beading mat so that you have the 9" ones together, the 8" ones together, and the 7" ones together.
-
Open a 8mm 22k gold jump ring. See this on opening and closing jump rings. Link onto it the silver jump rings which are located on one end of each of the beaded strands. Place them on the jump ring in the following order: all the 9", all the 8", and all the 7". Close the jump ring. Go to the other side of the beaded strands and repeat this step, fastening them together with a gold jump ring.
-
Open another 22k gold jump ring. Link onto it the end chain links of each of your three chains (gold, silver, and copper). Also link onto it 1 4mm silver plated closed jump ring. Close the jump ring. Pick up your beaded strands which are all attached and open the 8mm jump ring holding them together on one side. Link this to the 4mm jump ring you just added to your chain lengths. Make sure none of your beaded strands come off and close the jump ring back up.
-
On the other side of your chains, open and attach another 8mm gold jump ring to each chain link end. Also link onto it the square part of your toggle clasp via the hole at the side of it. Close the jump ring.
-
Open another 8mm jump ring and link it to the bar part of your toggle clasp. Before closing, also link it to the 8mm jump ring which is holding your beaded strands together (the side not already attached to the chains). Close the jump ring.
-
Have fun wearing your new necklace!

Tip: this makes for a 20 inch necklace. If you would like it longer, simply make your bead strands longer (you have plenty of seed beads in the mix to do this). If you wish it to be shorter, cut down your chain lengths before attaching them.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
