Love Letter Necklace
Project N643 Designer: Julie Bean
A sweet bird is delivering a letter which has been sealed with hearts in this fun mixed media necklace. The
base is a Domino tile and the image has been topped with an epoxy sticker. An Aanraku bail and pink ball

Instructions:
- This entire project can be seen in the video: How to Make a Domino Tile Pendant Using Epoxy Stickers.
-
If you would rather not view the video, here are the written instructions:
-
Begin by cutting out 1 epoxy sticker, keeping the back and front protective sheets on and leaving a slight border around the edge. If you want, you can peel the front protective sheet off at this time. Place the sticker (with back still attached) onto your collage sheet and view the images through the sticker so that you can get a good idea of how it will look. Once you have decided upon an image (we chose the bird with the letter), then carefully pull the protective backing off and place the sticker over the image. Press into place.
-
Using your scissors, carefully cut around the sticker. Do not cut the sticker itself.
-
Onto the backside of the image (with the sticker on the other side), spread a layer of Nunn Glue. Make sure to cover the entire backside. Turn over and press into place on the backside of the domino. Hold down firmly for 2 minutes and then let dry fully for another 15 minutes.
-
Take your Aanraku bail and onto the flat glue-on section of the bail, spread some E6000 glue. Turn over and press into place on your domino tile (the side with the dots and without the sticker). Make sure that the bail is centered. Let dry fully.
-
When your bail is dry, open your pre-made ball chain necklace and thread the ball chain through the hoop at the top of the Aanraku bail. Close your necklace back up.
-
Enjoy!

Variations
The possibilities are endless with the wide range of collage images and ball chain colors available. For custom jewelry, use your own photos or drawings.
When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
