Instructions:
NOTE: For this project , you will also need a paint brush, applicator such as a toothpick, clean disposable mixing cup, and a stir stick such as a popsicle stick.
- To start this project, please watch the video:
-
On your Art Nouveau Collage Sheet, locate the image which looks like reeds. Cut this image out. Spread a layer of Nunn Glue onto the backside of the image. Set this down into your rectangular bezel setting and press into place to remove air bubbles. Let dry fully. Using your paint brush, paint 3 layers of Nunn Sealant over your image, letting each coat dry thoroughly between applications.
-
Take an applicator such as a toothpick and spread a line of glue, 1/4" wide, along the base of the bezel (on the inside). Allow your glue to be somewhat thick. Into the glue, sprinkle some Miyuki Delica 10/0 seed beads in blue zircon. It is ok if some of their holes show, we are just trying to create the illusion of water. Next, place several small dabs of glue on top of the blue seed beads and into these dabs of glue, place 3 - 8 Swarovski crystal chatons facing upwards (however many you want to look "sparkly"). Press the chatons into the seed beads so that they do not stick up beyond the depth of the bezel. Also place a dab of glue into the the top right and left corners of the bezel. Into each of these glue dabs, place a Swarovski crystal chaton.
-
Now, take your chain nose pliers and gently bend the wings on your two silver plated dragonfly stampings upward, just enough to give them some dimension. Run a line of glue on the underside of each stamping; then set them down into the bezel setting on top of the reeds, as if they were flying. Let everything dry COMPLETELY.
-
Mix and pour a layer of resin into your bezel setting over all your collage work. Pour until you reach the top of your bezel edge. Remove any air bubbles with a torch and let cure for 3 days.
-
Take your antique brass curb chain and thread it through the bail of your pendant.
-
Onto one end of the chain, open and link a 5mm antique brass jump ring. Onto this jump ring also link the loop at the base of one half of your toggle clasp. Close the jump ring back up. Repeat this same step on the other side of your chain.
-
Enjoy!

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
