Instructions:

1. Please begin by watching the video: How to Use Bail Making Pliers and Make a Bail


2. The pendant and silver plated art deco connector link for this project are demonstrated in the video above. Take your Russian Jade Serpentine large teardrop pendant, 1 antique silver plated art deco connector link, and 1 2" antique silver plated head pin; and following the instruction in the video, make your bail and attach it to your pendant.


3. Open a rhodium plated oval jump ring and connect one half of your silver plated art deco clasp to one of your antique silver plated art deco connector links. Close the jump ring.


4. Cut a 14" length of gunmetal steel flat link cable chain. Also locate your 1 foot of antique silver plated cable chain and cut it in half.


5. Using an oval jump ring, connect the end link of your gunmetal chain to the art deco connector link which is connected to the clasp. Close the jump ring. Starting at where you just connected the link and clasp, measure 2" along your gunmetal chain, and at that point, open and connect an oval jump ring to the chain link at the 2" point, and also the end of one of your 6" lengths of antique silver plated chain. Close the jump ring.


6. Measure another 5" along your gunmetal chain (so 7" from the end you started on), and at that point, open and connect an oval jump ring to the chain link at the 5" point, and also the other end of your 6" length of antique silver plated chain. Before closing the jump ring, add the end chain link of your second 6" piece of antique silver plated chain. Close the jump ring.


7. Slide on your pendant by pulling the chain ends through the bail.


8. Make the second half of our necklace a mirror image of the first.
