Instructions:
Note: as you are making this project, pay attention that your Vintaj filigree pieces all face the same direction since there is a right and wrong side to these pieces. Also make sure that your multi-strands do not cross and end up being attached tangled.
- To begin, take your Vintaj relief block and gently sand the top surface of all your Vintaj filigree teardrop charms and Emblazonry filigree charms. Keep buffing until you expose the shiny brass below the antiqued brass surface. Set aside.
-
Take a 1" antique brass head pin and place onto it 1 Miyuki delica 11/0 seed bead in metallic green bronze, 1 Amazonite 2mm round bead in pale aqua green, and 1 Amazonite 4mm round bead in matte pale aqua green. Using your wire looping pliers create a simple wire loop after the last bead and trim off excess wire with flush cutters. Make a total of 6 of these.

Take a 1" antique brass head pin and place onto it 1 Miyuki delica 11/0 seed bead in metallic green bronze, 1 Amazonite 2mm round bead in pale aqua green, 1 Vintaj brass fluted round 3mm bead, and 1 Amazonite 4mm round bead in matte pale aqua green. Using your wire looping pliers create a simple wire loop after the last bead and trim off excess wire with flush cutters. Make a total of 5 of these.
-
On all of the dangles you just created above, open the simple wire loop on the end with the seed bead and slip the top loop of one of your Vintaj filigree teardrop charms onto it. Close the loop. Make sure to do this for all of the dangles.
-
Your 1 foot of antique brass 9mm cable donut circles chain should have between 27 and 28 links on it. Do not cut the actual circles, but instead use your chain nose pliers to gently open the flat links that connect the circles. Do not cut. Make it so you have a continual chain of 25 links and then two loose ones. If for some reason your chain has less then this, then make it so it has 23 continual links and 2 separate ones (adjust the other strand lengths accordingly if this is the case).
-
Fold your chain from above in half so that you find the middle circle link. Onto the middle link, attach one of your longest dangles via the simple wire loop. On each side of it, attach one of your second longest dangles. Repeat this sequence until you have all your dangles attached and end with the the two smallest ones on each end. See the photo.
-
Retrieve one of the chain connectors you removed with your chain nose pliers two steps ago and link it again to one of the end circles from the chain in the last step and also the bottom edge of your Vintaj Eblazonry charm. Close that connector back up using your chain nose pliers. Repeat this step on the other side of your necklace using your other Eblazonry charm.
-
Cut 16" of bronze colored beading wire. Place a bead stopper 3 inches from one end. String onto your beading wire 1 brass crimp bead. Next, string 1 Amazonite 4mm round bead in matte pale aqua green and 1 Miyuki delica 11/0 seed bead in metallic green bronze. Repeat this sequence, every other one, until you have strung a total of 50 Amazonite 4mm round beads in matte pale aqua green with a Miyuki bead between each. String on another brass crimp bead. Thread the end of the beading wire through the middle open-work hole at the bottom of your Vintaj Eblazonry charm, loop it back around and through the crimp bead and several beads next to it. Crimp the crimp bead and cut off excess wire with flush cutters. Go to the other side of your necklace, remove the bead stopper, and attach it to the Vintaj Eblazonry charm on that end the same
way.
-
Cut 9 3/4" of your antique brass 5mm donut circle charm chain. Open a 5mm jump ring and attach it to the end of the chain and also a side open-work filigree hole of your Eblazonry charm. Close the jump ring. Repeat on the other side of your necklace. Please keep referring back to the photo for placement of these strands.
-
For your final strand. Cut 15" of bronze colored beading wire. Place a bead stopper 3 inched from the end. String onto your beading wire 1 brass crimp bead, 110 Amazonite 2mm round beads in pale aqua green, and another crimp bead. Thread the end through the end open-work hole at the bottom of your Vintaj Eblazonry charm, loop it back around and through the crimp bead again. Crimp the crimp bead and cut off excess wire with flush cutters. Go to the other side of your necklace, remove the bead stopper, and attach it to the Vintaj Eblazonry charm on that end the same way.

Almost done!

Cut 10" of bronze colored beading wire. Place a bead stopper 3 inches from one end. String onto your beading wire 1 brass crimp bead. Next, string 1 Amazonite 4mm round bead in matte pale aqua green and 1 Miyuki delica 11/0 seed bead in metallic green bronze. Repeat this sequence, every other one, until you have strung a total of 12 Amazonite 4mm round beads in matte pale aqua green with a Miyuki bead between each. String on another brass crimp bead. Thread the end through one of your separated 9mm circles from your circle chain, loop it back around and through the crimp bead and several beads next to it. Crimp the crimp bead and cut off excess wire with flush cutters.
-
Repeat the previous step on the other side of your necklace. On this side of your necklace, open the loop at the base of Vintaj hook clasp and link it to the circle chain link. Close the loop back up.
-
Optional: If you want to make your necklace adjustable in length, you can follow this step here:
-
To create a necklace extender, place 1 Amazonite 4mm round bead in matte pale aqua green onto a brass head pin. Create a simple wire loop after the bead and cut off excess wire with flush cutters. Make a total of 4 of these. On the 5th one, create a wrapped wire loop after the bead instead of a simple wire loop. Connect all 5 of these together via their simple wire loops, creating a chain. On the end with the wrapped wire loop, open a jump ring, link it to it, and then also link this to the circle on the end of your necklace which does not have the Vintaj hook attached. On the other end of this gemstone chain, open the simple wire loop and slip another Vintaj filigree teardrop charm onto it. Close the link.

All done!

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
