Central Park Necklace

The colors of this necklace resemble those seen while walking through a park at night - hints of green, gray shadows, a sparkle here and there. A gunmetal finished box chain necklace completes the urban look of the design.

Note: You will also need a paint brush for this project.
- To begin this project, please watch the video: How to Use Vintaj Patinas and Glaze. Based upon what you saw in the video, take your Vintaj Oak Frond pendant and paint a wash of jade patina and glaze onto the top surface. Let dry.

Next, please watch the video: How to Use Crystal Clay. Mix up a pea size amount of brown crystal clay and then shape the clay into a teardrop shape. Flatten this teardrop shape using your fingers and then press to against the backside of your painted Vintaj Oak Frond. See photo for where it should stick out from behind the frond.

Take the beeswax pick that comes with your Crystal Clay and place approximately 25 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystal chatons size pp14 in jet hematite into the brown Crystal Clay that shows on the topside of your pendant. Just place them where you can between the fern edges. Let dry.

Open a gunmetal plated jump ring and link it to the loop at the top of your pendant and also link it around your finished box chain. Close the jump ring.

Variations
Try using a different color of Crystal Clay behind your Vintaj Oak Frond Pendant. When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
