Deco Owl Unisex Necklace

A striking terracotta Art Deco style Clay River owl pendant is the feature of this simple yet bold necklace. The muted earthy tones and antique brass finishing touches make this necklace ideal for both men and women.

Instructions:
- Cut a 20" length of dark brown faux leather suede cord.

Fold your above length of cord in half and feed the end that is folded through the hole in the owl pendant, going from back to front. Pull an inch through and then feed your cord tails through the loop in the front. This is called a Lark's Head knot and can be seen in more detail in the video HERE.

Apply a 3mm antique brass fold over crimp to each of your ribbon ends. If you want, you can add a bit of glue to help secure the ribbon.

Open the loop at the base of one half of your barrel clasp and attach it to one of your fold over crimp ends. Close the loop. Repeat on the other side of your necklace.

Variations
Choose a different striking pendant for a variation on this design. When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.
