Instructions:

  1. No tools are required for this project, everything you need comes with the Crystal Clay - including the pretty Swarovski chatons. You will have 60 - 90 minutes work time for your Crystal Clay, so there is no need to rush, take your time and enjoy the process.

  2. Before beginning, wash your hands really well. Any residual dirt, ink, or lint will come off on your clay, so clean hands are very important.

  3. Watch the video: How to Use Crystal Clay. This video will introduce you to Crystal Clay and show you step-by step how to make this ring. Make the ring according to the instructions in the video.

  4. A couple notes: I created quite a domed appearance to this ring, if you want, you can use less clay and make a flatter ring or even use more clay to create an even higher dome. Try to have a spare bezel or some other Crystal Clay project nearby in case you mix too much clay, this way you can use any extra on it. If you mix too little clay, then you can always mix up some more and add it to the already mixed clay.

  5. Once your ring is finished, set aside in a safe area (where it won't get knocked around or dirty) and let dry for 12 - 24 hours.

  6. Enjoy your new ring!

Variations

There are a lot of different bezel ring setting you can use to make this ring - square, heart, oval, channel, flower, and more! In addition, there are 17 different colors of Crystal Clay to choose from!

When substituting in items, pay attention to sizes and styles to make sure all your pieces will fit together.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
