The Time Machine Bracelet
Project B134 Designer: Andrea Morici
Like something out of a tale by H.G. Wells this Steampunk bracelet has a futuristic, yet antique feel to it. It
is comprised of layers of buttons in various antiqued finishes.
NOTE: This project includes one or more items that are no longer available, despite our best efforts. We have kept this project on the site for you to use as a template or inspiration for your own creations.

Thread a crimp tube onto the end of the strand, but do not crimp it yet. Thread the end of the wire through the shank on the back of the remaining steampunk button (PND-1054), and back through the crimp tube and the last few beads on the strand. Pull the wire snug and crimp the crimp tube. Trim off excess wire from that end of the bracelet.

Remove the bead stopper from the other end of the bracelet, and add a crimp tube onto the strand, but do not crimp it yet.
-
To create the loop part of the clasp on this end of the bracelet, you must thread the following:

- a copper crimp bead
- a 3mm antiqued brass bead
- a copper crimp bead
- a 4mm antiqued silver diamond cut out bead
- a copper crimp bead
- a 3mm antiqued brass bead
- three more copper crimp beads.
(NOTE: In this step you are using the copper crimp beads as spacer beads, so do not crimp them!)
-
Thread the end of your wire back through the crimp tube from step four, and through several of the consecutive beads. Pull the wire snug, and crimp the crimp tube. Trim off excess wire.
-
Add a fluted gunmetal crimp bead cover over the crimp tube at either end of the bracelet, and gently squeeze them shut.

Tip: Check package quantities for each component. You may have extra material to make more than one finished project, or will have leftovers for other projects. In some cases, adding on just one more package of a component may be all you need to make multiple pieces.
