Kyanite
Kyanite is an attractive translucent silcate mineral that varies in color from a near sapphire like blue, to gray-green. Because Kyanite occurs as somewhat brittle, elongated blades it is difficult to cut as a gemstone.
Often used as pendants in jewelry, kyanite is ascribed metaphysical characterists by some, encouraging tranquillity, psychic awareness, and dream recall.
