Rhodochrosite
Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral that is a rose-red color in its rare, pure form. It is often found in shades of pink to pale brown. Due to its softness it is difficult to cut cleanly and, therefore, is rarely found faceted. The Incas believed that rhodochrosite was the blood of their former kings turned to stone; therefore it is sometimes called "Rosa del Inca" or "Inca Rose"
