Rhodonite
Rhodonite is a distinctive, rose-pink mineral that is often carved and used in jewelry. It is named after the Greek word for rose, rhodon. Rhodonite often has black manganese oxide veins running through it, giving it a distinct appearance, which can be confused with rhodochrosite and the rare mineral, pyroxmangite.
