Sunstone

Sunstone is a type of feldspar that is similar in appearance to aventurine, which is why it is also known as “aventurine-feldspar”. Sunstone is generally metallic in appearance due to the reflective properties of red, orange or green hematite (or goethite) crystals within the stone. It is the State Gem of Oregon.
