Guide to Beadaholique Project PagesNot quite sure how to read our new project tutorial pages? See below for an explanation and some helpful hints on dealing with out of stock items and customizing the project. What You'll Need Products needed for Project E690, Copper Court Earrings. Under "What You'll Need" is a list of each product used, along with how many pieces of each is used in the project. You'll also see how many packages are needed since 1 package may not have enough pieces for the project. In practice, however, many of our items such as head pins and jump rings come in large value packages; 1 package may contain more pieces than is needed for the project. You can save any extra material for other projects or to make multiple quantities. Products on spools such as beading thread or wire, in tubes, and other items such as glue or glazes which are difficult to measure, may indicate that you'll just need to have 1 package or piece available; you often will not use the entire package. In this example below, the project needs 2 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS twist disc pendants. Since each pendant comes in a package of 1, you'll need two packages for the project. You'll also need 4 copper plated pewter scalloped bead caps, which are sold in packages of 12. You will have 8 bead caps leftover for other projects. You can also change the package quantities based on what you need.

Simply add on the products you don't have. If you do need all the products, purchase the supplies kit for the project—it contains all the products you'll need in full package quantities. Some tools are essential for making the project correctly, while other tools, though not absolutely necessary, will make certain tasks easier. Check the project instructions to see if you'll need any of the tools. Please note that recommended tools are not included with the project supplies kit.  Recommended tools for Project E690. Out of Stock Products, Substitutions and CustomizationSometimes a product will become temporarily out of stock. You can get an email notification when it comes back in stock, or you can try and find a substitute in the product's category. In the example below, the olive colored melon beads are out of stock, but you'll be able to browse over a dozen other in-stock colors within our 5mm Melon Beads category. From there, you can use the breadcrumb to view similar items in that product's category.  Category links in a product's breadcrumb navigation.
