Czech glass prong beads give the ornate beaded beads that comprise these earrings a dynamic, spiky look, interspersed with Toho seed beads. Playful and eye-catching!

By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.

To begin, please watch our video on how to make an ornate beaded bead using right angle weave with two needles. Cut a 4 foot length of Fireline and thread big eye needles on both ends of the thread, as shown in the video. Make sure to pick up all of your prong beads facing the same direction as you weave the beaded bead.
Take 1 head pin and string 1 forget-me-not flower bead. Then slide the head pin through the center of one cluster of gold seed beads in the ornate beaded bead and out another cluster of seed beads on the other side. String 1 more forget-me-not flower bead. Make a simple wire loop and cut off the excess wire of the head pin with flush cutters.
Open the loop of an earring hook the same way you would open a jump ring and slide on the wire loop from the previous step. Close the loop.
