Retired - Cinchona Bracelet

1. Please watch our video: How to Make a Fishtail Bracelet Using Round Leather Cord. Using what you have learned in the video, begin by cutting 10 strands of 1.5mm leather cord that are 1.5 feet long.
2. Load your cords onto a bead stopper as shown in the video, starting at one end with brown leather and alternating every other strand with natural leather until all 10 of your cords are lined up.
3. Follow along with the video to weave your fishtail braid, making sure to keep the cords in order to achieve an alternating effect.
4. Once your braid is the desired length, tie off one end as shown in the video. In this case, instead of thread use a scrap of leather. This will bulk up the end of your bracelet, helping it fit better into the cord end of your clasp. Using flush cutters, clip any extra cord.
5. Use a toothpick to add a few dabs of E6000 glue into one side of your clasp and insert the tied-off end of your braid.
6. Repeat the above two steps to tie off and attach the other side of your clasp. I recommend allowing the glue to dry for 24 hours before wearing. Enjoy your bracelet!
