Retired - Cup O' Joe Necklace

1. Begin by cutting five pieces of Power Pro braided beading thread at two feet long each. Join all of the strands together and secure one end to prevent accidental bead spillage. We recommend using a Bead Stopper for this.
2. Separate one strand of Power Pro and thread it through a needle. Pull the thread through the eye of the needle about two inches and fold down.
3. Onto that needle, thread one inch of seed beads. Make sure that you stagger the colors so that the pattern of the beads is random.
4. Remove the needle from that strand, and add it to one of the other strands of Power Pro. Thread one inch of seed beads onto this strand. Do the same with the other strands of Power Pro so that there is one inch of mixed seed beads on each piece of thread.
5. Gather all five strands together and thread all of them through a single hematite fire polish bead, a coffee bean bead, and another hematite fire polish bead.
6. Separate the five strands and thread one inch of seed beads onto each strand once again.
7. Gather all five strands together again and thread all of them through a single hematite fire polish bead, a coffee bean bead, and another hematite fire polish bead.
8. Repeat this process of adding an inch of seed beads to each individual strand and the hematite, coffee bean, hematite combination to the combined threads until you have five segments of seed beads.
9. When you complete the fifth segment of seed beads, gather all five strands together once again and thread them through the following beads: a hematite fire polish, a coffee bean, four more hematite fire polish beads, another coffee bean bead, and finally one more hematite fire polish. This will be the center of your necklace where the coffee cup pendant will hang.
10. Repeat steps six through eight to complete the other half of the necklace.
11. After you have threaded the last segment of seed beads, gather all the strands together once more and thread a crimp bead onto them, but do not crimp yet.
12. Thread all five strands through the loop of an eyepin and back through the crimp bead and crimp down. Trim off excess thread.
13. Remove the Bead Stopper from the other end of the necklace and repeat the last two steps.
14. Now you have an eyepin at each end of the necklace. Onto each eyepin thread a coil rondelle, six gunmetal jump rings a coffee bean bead and a closed crimp bead cover.
15. Create a simple loop at the end of each eyepin and trim off excess wire.
16. To one end of the necklace, add a gunmetal jump ring. To the other, add the lobster clasp.
