Create this cheerful necklace using PRESTIGE crystal beads in classic rainbow colors along with TierraCast hammered rings. The contrast of the metal with the bright beads creates a striking jewelry design.
Reboot: We have rebooted this project using a different chain and a different toggle clasp.

Instructions

For this design, you are purchasing 2 feet of chain, meaning that you can make the necklace up to 24 inches long. You can also choose the spacing of your rings to be whatever suits you. Also, please note the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) for when you attach your beads/rings.

Cut your desired length of chain for the necklace length that you want.
Onto each end of the chain, open a jump ring and link it to the end chain link and one half of the clasp. Close the jump ring.
Place one 8mm colorful PRESTIGE round bead onto a head pin and create a simple wire loop after it. Please note that you want this loop to be a little larger than normal since it will need to go around the outside of the TierraCast hammered ring. Trim excess wire. Repeat with your other 5 PRESTIGE crystal round beads.
Take one of your beads and open the loop that you just created. Slip a TierraCast hammered ring onto it and close the loop back up. Repeat with your other 5 beads/loops/rings.
Find the mid-way point of your necklace. Since you have 6 rings, you will not be linking one to this exact middle link but will link one ring to a chain link about 3/4 inch from the middle on one side and 3/4" from the middle on the other side. To attach a ring, open a jump ring and link to it one of the hammered rings with a bead dangling from it as well as your desired chain link. Close the jump ring.
From the rings you attached, move 1.5" to either side of them and attach two more rings in the same way. Repeat this again with your last two remaining rings. Enjoy wearing your rainbow necklace!
