I So Want to Give 5 Stars But...

I love the look of this clasp so I ordered two. I have received them but cannot figure out how to separate the two pieces. There are no explanations with the product, on the website or in any tutorials on how to separate the inner tube from the barrel. I tried chatting with a representative on line but didn't get anywhere. Being new to kumihimo and jewelry making, I guess I will have to try trial and error. Maybe a more experienced 'beader' would know what to do.
