Retired - Salton Earrings

1. Please watch the video: How to Punch Holes in Acetate Using the BeadSmith Two-Hole Metal Punch Tool.
2. Using what you have learned in the video, make one hole in the bottom center of your Zola Elements acetate pendant using the 1.5mm hole size on the tool. You can use the edge of your caliper or ruler to align your hole with the pre-existing hole at the top of your pendant.
3. Use your caliper or ruler to measure 7mm up either side from the center hole you made in step 2, and make two more holes in your pendant.
4. Use pliers to open a 5mm jump ring and slide on the hole of one oval stamping blank. Also slide on one of the holes on your acetate pendant that you made in step 1. Close the jump ring. Repeat this step to attach two more oval stamping blanks to your pendant.
5. Use flush cutters to cut five lengths of flat cable chain, ranging in length from 0.5 inch to 1 inch.
6. Open another jump ring and slide on the end links of each of your chains from step 3. Also slide on the top hole of your acetate pendant. Close the jump ring.
7. To attach your earring hook: first, use pliers to change the orientation of the loop on your earring hook. Then open the loop the same way you would open a jump ring, and slide on the jump ring at the top of your acetate pendant. Be sure that your chain dangles are facing forward (see photo for reference).
8. Enjoy your earrings!
