Retired - Shimmering Night Necklace and Earrings

1. For the earrings, take one head pin and string on one round 8mm round bead. Make a simple wire loop.
2. Take one eye pin and string on one 6mm round bead. Make a simple wire loop.
3. Take one eye pin and string on one 4mm round bead. Make a simple wire loop.
4. Now open the loop of the 8mm bead, same as you would a jump ring, and attach it to the loop of the 6mm bead. Move to the other side of the 6mm bead and attach the loop of the 4mm bead. To the other side of the 4mm bead, attach the earring hook.
5. To make the second earring follow the steps above.
6. For the necklace, begin by adding a 6mm jump ring to each of the Austrian Crystal Queen Baguettes. Simply open a jump ring, add the pendant and close the jump ring. Repeat for all 13 pendants.
7. Take the griffin silk off of the card and stretch it out with your hands.
8. Thread the silk through one knot cover. Tie a double knot about 2 inches from the tail (the end without the needle) of the silk.
9. Add a dab of GS Hypo cement glue to the knot. Trim the tail, and close the knot cover around the knot. Allow to dry.
10. Now string on beads in this order: 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, small baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, small baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, medium baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, medium baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, large baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, large baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, large baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, large baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, large baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, medium baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, medium baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, small baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 4mm bead, small baguette jump ring, 4mm bead, 6mm bead, and 4mm bead.
11. Repeat the above steps to thread on a knot cover, tie a double knot, glue, trim and close the knot cover. Set this piece aside.
12. Next, you will set up another strand in the same way by threading on a knot cover, tie a double knot, glue, trim and close the knot cover.
13. String on beads in this order: 4mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, 8mm bead, 6mm bead, and a 4mm bead.
14. Repeat the above steps to thread on a knot cover, tie a double knot, glue, trim and close the knot cover. Set this piece aside.
15. Cut three lengths of chain, 6 inches each.
16. Take the piece with the 8mm beads on it and attach the loop of the knot cover to the first of the three loops of the strand reducer. Close the loop. Attach this strand to the second strand reducer to the first of the three loops of the strand reducer.
17. Take one length of chain and using 5mm jump rings, attach the chain to the second loop of each strand reducer.
18. Take the piece with the baguettes and attach the loop of the knot cover to the last of the three loops of the strand reducer. Close the loop. Attach this strand to the second strand reducer to the last of the three loops of the strand reducer.
19. To the other side of the strand reducer attach one length of chain using a 5mm jump ring. Repeat for both strand reducers.
20. To the end of one side of the chain, add one 6mm jump ring. To the other chain, add one 6mm jump ring and one lobster clasp.
