Retired - Sun Drop Earrings

1. Begin by using the Vintaj Patina on the filigree piece and the earring post. Please watch our video: How to Use Vintaj Patinas and Glaze. In this video you will see how to add the color. Wipe off the excess paint quickly with a paper towel to reveal more silver underneath. Set these aside.
2. Next cut two lengths of chain, 14 links long. Set these aside.
3. Take one head pin and string on one bead. Make a simple wire loop. Repeat this step 8 more times.
4. To assemble the earring, take one head pin with a bead on it and open the loop, same as you would a jump ring, and attach it to the bottom center loop of the filigree piece. Attach the remaining pieces to the other loops of the filigree, leaving the top two loops without.
5. Open another jump ring and attach one length of chain to one of the top loops of the filigree. Repeat on the other side.
6. Attach another jump ring to both top ends of the chains. Make sure that the chains are not twisted so that the earring will swing properly.
7. Attach one final jump ring to the jump ring you just added and to the loop of the earring post.
