Retired - Whimsy Go-Round Earrings

Add a touch of whimsy to your wardrobe with these charming earrings. This design reminds me of a carousel at a fair and the butterfly pattern on the channel bead is as lovely as a flower in Spring.
Instructions

NOTE: You will also need a paint brush for this project. Also, if you are not concerned with the image on your bead exactly matching, you can just purchase 1 sheet of collage images and use two different images from it.
  1. To start this project, please watch the video: How to Apply Collage Images to Nunn Design Channel Bead Cores and Make an Earring.
  2. The entire project is demonstrated in the above video. Here is a quick run-down if you do not wish to watch the video:
  3. Cut your collage image to fit into the bead channel. Paint Nunn glue on the backside of the image and then press into place on the gold bead core. Let dry. Paint a layer of Nunn Sealant over the image, all the way around. Let dry.
  4. Onto a gold head pin, place 1 Austrian crystal 4mm bicone in light amethyst, 1 Austrian crystal 6mm round bead in pacific opal, your bead core from above, another round bead and another bicone.
  5. Create a wrapped wire loop after the last bead and snip off excess wire with flush cutters.
  6. Open the loop at the base of your earring hook and link it to the wrapped wire loop you just made. Close the loop at the base of your earring.
  7. All done! Don't forget to make a second earring to have your matched set.
